"Schnapsidee": an impractical idea, which seems brilliant after a drink or two, something that applies to most of us at one point or another in our lives. A classic German style Pilsner brewed with all German malts and hops, crisp, clean and refreshing. Remember, just because you think of an idea after a couple drinks, does not make it a good one!

Clear pale gold color. Poured a medium height head that collapsed down to large bubbles and a small patch in half a minute. Low flow of tiny and medium sized bubbles from the bottom of the glass. Left no lacing.

Sweet scent somewhere between floral and fruity. Light malt. Hint of barnyard that quickly dispersed. Swirling the glass kicked up a stronger sweet scent and a stronger barnyard that disappeared after a few seconds.

Flavor starts off a bit sweet and floral, picks up some bitters puffed-wheat malt, and then ends up sweeter again with the bitters in the back. The aftertaste is a quick fade of the sweet to mostly hoppy bitters. Has a faint metallic taste that builds stronger towards the bottom of the glass.

Some tongue tingling as it foams up to larger bubbles. Left my mouth feeling a little gummy.

Close to style and then has an addition of sweet florals and the faint metallic taste. Should more closely follow the process of the 1921 Post-Prohibition Pilsner to knock down the metallic flavor. Although the flavor isn't the same, the florals remind me of an Almdudler radler. This was a bit too sweet for my preferences.

Pours clear gold with a small head. Very adjunct style smell. The taste is corny, biscuity and metallic. Mouthfeel is smooth but plain. Nothing spectacular, but drinkable
