Picture monks wearing Hawaiian shirts, hanging poolside vibin' to some hot tracks. Now some how think of that as a beer. This IPA is the best of both worlds with that classic Belgian yeast spice and a not so classic tropical fruit inspired dry hop featuring Idaho 7, Citra and Vic Secret.

Cloudy orange-tan color. Poured a medium head that took a couple of minutes to collapse down to a skiff. Too cloudy to see the carbonation level. Left small patches of lace.
Smelled fruity with strong hops and some pine resin. A bit of yeast funk. Swirling the glass kicked up some horse blanket which stayed around for a while.
Some light fruit that was a blend of stonefruit and citrus. Strong resinous hops; not quite to the resin of a pine. Much lighter bitters than the listed IBU 46. Light barnyard funk. The aftertaste is a strong resin and a bit more bitter. The barnyard comes back stronger.
Some tongue tingling as it quickly formed a thick foam that was a little coarser than creamy.
I preferred this over the few actual Belgian IPAs I had. The only thing I would change is to reduce the barnyard.
