A local collaboration that has been a long time in the making. Our friends over at 3 Dogs Brewing came into our neck of the woods to brew up something special. A non-traditional Pilsner brewed with both flaked and malted oats and dry hopped with a combo of Zappa and Mosaic lending a subtle hint of raspberries to this crispy boi!

Clear gold color. Poured a medium height head that collapsed to a thin skiff in half a minute. Low flow of tiny bubbles from the bottom of the glass. No lacing.
Sweet fruity smell, but I couldn't pick out the fruit. Slight hop floral smell. Light multi-grain bread smell with a little yeast. Swirling the glass kicked up a barnyard that only lasted for a couple of seconds. ETA: After reading the blurb on the label, I realized that the fruity smell was mostly raspberry.
Light sweet with floral hop flavor and a bit of yeast funk, almost like a light barnyard. Mild bitters that seem stronger than the listed IBU 15. Oat flake shows up after it warms a bit. The aftertaste is some mild bitter hops and yeast funk. The bitters last a long time.
Some tongue tingling as it grows to a very coarse foam. Slight gummy feel.
Interesting take on a Pilsner. The grain flavor is far more obvious than a standard Pilsner. More hoppy and bitter than I was expecting.
