Hazy pale orange-tan color. Poured a medium height head that collapsed to larger bubbles and then a thin skiff after a couple of minutes. Too hazy to see the carbonation level. Left rings of lacing.

Sour funk smell with some citrus fruit and just a hint of barnyard. Something is slightly floral. Swirling the glass kicked up a bit more barnyard, that faded away after a couple of seconds, and a bit more sour floral.

Light tart that turns to more of a bitter funk as it warms up. The label claims IBU 8, but this is way more bitter than that. Strong citrus mix, the bitter tastes like there is some pith and peel in the mix. It turns a bit sweeter and more citrus as it warms further. The malt is very low key. The aftertaste is a return to the bitter funk, and again a bit more sour.

A little tongue tingling for a couple of seconds. It turns into a thin, unstructured foam. A bit astringent in the aftertaste.

The bitter funk seems a little out of place. Calling this a sour is a stretch. This is really a light tart with a lot of bitter. Interesting mix of flavors, but I would like it more if the bitters were reduced.

The brewery calls this "Y2Haze Sour IPA" on their web site, but the word "Y2Haze" is not printed anywhere on the label I could see.
