Humankind’s first liquid resembling beer was produced in Ancient Egypt, made of grains such as spelt and emmer, and fermentable additions could include honey and crushed dates, to create this Elixir of the Gods. The preferred brews were red in colour and were packaged into potted beer jars. Well…. modern times call for modern ingredients…. so we didn’t use any of that. We chose instead some fine toasted and caramel malts, new-age hops, and a clean yeast profile in this brew. And while it may not be perfectly resemblant to the beverage of millennia ago, it is still just as divine.
