This is their new wheatwine, without the barrel aging. I think it's canadian wheat, german pils and a bit of Munich, with columbus and strisselspalt hops. Very unique.
A: Dirty straw with a slightly orange hue and a fair bit of haze, off-white head, thin ring of retention leaves a bit of leg.
S: Interesting aroma of stewed apricots, quite floral with some field berry jam and a light peppery spice.
T: The apricots really come through in the flavour as well. There's a light grassy & somewhat peppery spicing, nectarine, mango, passion fruit, plenty of wheat bread, some underlying piny resin with a solid, but balanced bitterness; warming alcohol.
M: Smooth, moderately full body has a hint of acidity.
D: A REALLY pleasant drinker for its weight; well crafted.
