Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into English pint glass.
Appearance: Black colour, coffeeish-brownish medium head which later gets smaller.
Aroma: Dry plum, coffee, chocolate, cocoa.
Palate: Medium to full body, gentle carbonation, oily.
Taste: Dark chocolate, medium bitterness, maybe a hint of smoked cheese; coffee aftertaste.
Overall impression: Excellent, very enjoyable, good for sipping.

I have to say that I am usually overwhelmed after a few sips of most porters. This one turned out to be quite a surprise as I was able to finish the wholo beer! Nonetheless, I apreciate that its sold in 0,33l bottles instead of 0,5l like some other breweries.
The beer bottle looks fine but nothing out of ordinary. The same goes for the beer's color.
In aroma, it is quite sweet with notes of caramel, coffee and fruits which I can't clearly identify (green apples?). The aroma could be stronger though. There is almost no head and it fades quickly.
As I said previously, the taste is not overwhelming in either sweetness, nor strength. The taste reminds me of instant coffee, there is moderate bitterness and just enough sweetness. I can now also clearly taste the green apples which I couldn't quite put a finger on when asessing the aroma.

. 33l. bottle with 6.5% ABV in Croatia.
Very dark brown body with a decent light tan head. Rich flavor with a generous load of dark roasted grains. There's a hint of burnt toast and burnt grains but this is fitting given the grain load which carries lots of dark bread notes. Mild bitterness.
Smooth medium full body with low carbonation.

Viscous black with no head. 3.75
Big cocoa + smoke. 4
Brownie, raisins, + slight winter spice. 4
Med+, round, smooth. 4
Proper order. Maybe a bit underattenuated, but the body + flavor intensity for the ABV. Easy said than done, so respect. 3.75

Black, beige foam, one finger.
Smell of coffee, dust, cocoa.
In the mouth a wave of dusty coffee, cocoa notes, cappuccino.
Intense and definite, but right.
Some strong bitterness note.
Good croatian beer, also drunk on-tap.

Only Croatian Porter I could find over two weeks traveling across the country. Not sure if it's just been a while or if it's just that good. It was delicious!

330ml bottle from Spar supermarket, Zagreb (10.99 kuna):
This one was a really nice porter & probably one of the nicest Croatian beers I've managed to try thus far, the beer was very tasty with a good balance that went down smooth & easily. There were some nice dark malts & a good amount of sweetness throughout but it also had a subtle kick to it at the end; hopefully this one appears in the UK at some point in the near future as it's one I wouldn't mind trying again.
