Cool Vibe surfer/skater atmosphere. Small although they expanded next door. If your a hop head like me this place is for you. Excellent IPA’s. Great service even when busy. You can order food from super mex or sushi joint and they will deliver to your table. Their Beer selection is growing and company expanding so can’t wait to see what’s next on tap!

Great location right next to the beach.
Solid brews, sometimes lack of options but with expansion next door this will be a thing of the past. No food service, but there's a plethora of options next door, which are allowed to be eaten in the taproom. Some even do free delivery.

Nice little casual tasting room across the street from the beach.
Out of many beers when I visited, but that was OK because I just wanted to drink their hoppy beers which they had a reputation for.
The IPA was classic old-time west coast style , a good thing in my book. Brought back memories from when Green Flash & Racer 5 were still good beers. Followed up with a Pale Ale that was pretty forgettable, so just had another IPA.
Guy behind the bar was a bit gruff & short, not very friendly. Also abruptly announced closing an hour short of posted closing time - seemed odd.
Decent spot for a visit if you're in the mood for a classic old school IPA.

I moved to Garden Grove, CA a year and a half ago, and quickly found GG is a beer desert. (Locals please correct me if I have missed something good!)
Riip is my nearest local brewer, and lucky me its one of my favorites so far in Orange & LA Counties.
Great casual vibe, friendly, helpful staff. Good, cheap take-out food available from adjacent strip mall.

Newest Huntington Beach Brewery, in an incredible location, right across the street from the ocean! Been open almost a year and still in a growing phase, as they just got the space next to where their current space is, and apparently have plans to expand. About 10 taps, all of which are incredibly delicious, and also with growler fills. In addition, they sometimes bottle, but on my particular visit, didn't have any offerings but said they would have one the following week. Also missing was a Cask on the day I went, but again, said they would have one next week.
Chill little spot and although they don't make food there, are in a retail center with plenty of (good) food options, so it is easy to simply order and have it brought to you from a neighboring restaurant. The beers are of such a wide array (Session, IPA, Stout) that anything would find an equally worthy paring.
Overall, a nice addition to the local (nano) beer scene here in HB and I would highly recommend Riip Brewing to anyone local or if you are just passing through town (although it might be hard to leave)...

For what it is--a nano-brewery/homebrew shop, in a small space, with ~8 beers on draft--it's a solid spot. Good service, good vibe. Worth a visit.

Small tasting room with a bit of a skate and surf theme... at the edge of Sunset Beach, right off PCH. No brewing goes on at this location, however there are (limited) home-brewing supplies. Mostly IPAs, a few stouts with a very chill staff. No food, but they let you bring stuff in and on Thursdays they have free bread and pretzels (that use their spent grains)!
