Appearance. Pours a hazy amber-gold with a thin white head that doesn't last long, but leaves some thin bands of lace.

Smell. Floral hops and caramel. A hint of honey and mixed citrus fruits.

Taste. Sweet caramel, spicy floral hops and tobacco, a little molasses. Honey and a little bitter grassy hop bite in the end. Pretty nice stuff.

Mouthfeel. On the fuller side of light bodied with medium, smooth carbonation.

Overall. Great stuff. Lots going on for a pale. Will be keeping an eye out for another bottle or two of this!

Nice pale ale from Tin Whistle. Amber-to-gold colour with a nice thin head. Honey, spicy hops and sweet, caramel malts on the nose. Very pleasant scent.

Sweet honey and spice on the tongue. Honey and malts dominate, but there's a nice bitter hop finish.

A little crisp, almost like a lager with its sharpness, but not entirely unpleasant. A good session beer for sure.

Only made once a year with the hop harvest. Wet cascade hops and wildflower honey...

A: Golden yellow with a slight haze, white head, only a bit of retention but it leaves some lace.

S: Spicy hops (grassy, floral, peppery, rind) with hints of underlying sweet honey.

T: Spicy hops are up front, with an interesting honey sweetness in the finish. There's certainly some character from the wildflower honey, as well as peppery, grassy, floral and citrus rind from the hops. Some biscuity malt plays backup. Bitterness is very modest.

M: Light to moderate body; average carbonation.

D: A really easy drinker.

A well-crafted, unique brew. It's too bad the harvest is so late... this would be an excellent summer brew.
