Golden filtered with a little carbonation and four fingers of white fluffy head.

Smells of malt and a bit of dog.

Taste of Belgian yeast and coriander and pale malts.

Light body with little carbonation.

I got this in British Columbia Canada and drinking and California September 16, 2019.

650ml bottle - oh, great, chamomile, to go with yer usual witbier adjuncts in 'whitening' up a perfectly good IPA.

This beer pours a slightly hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with three chubby fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and chunky bone-white head, which leaves a few instances of rocky isthmus lace around the glass as it slowly but surely abates.

It smells of bready and doughy pale malt, a lesser spicy wheatiness, some musty florals, muddled domestic citrus peel, and an earthy and somewhat flagrant yeastiness. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, wheaten breakfast cereal, kind of edgy coriander and black pepper spice, more musty floral character, some orange and lemon peel citrus oiliness, and a now settled-down yeast acridity.

The carbonation is rather aggressive in its palate-coating frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and mostly smooth, which I really have no way of explaining, so let's just go with that. It finishes off-dry, the mixed malt, citrus, and blended spices working well in their lingering menage.

Overall, this is one of the better versions of this hybrid style that I have recently come across, even with the dreaded (for this observer, anyways) chamomile guest ingredient. Rounded, and actually pretty easy to drink, with a very low bitterness quotient. Not bad stuff.
