On draught at Dubco Acres. Served in a tulip glass. It pours nearly ink black. The small, ecru-colored head dissipated quickly. Its fragrant smell includes roasted malt, vanilla bean, dark chocolate, and coconut. The taste is coconut forward with lots of cocoa. As it warms the lightly-roasted almond and honey emerges. There is a strong base of bitter, earthy char and the balance balance between sweet and bitter is very good. The mouth feel is creamy with lite carbonation and it's quite drinkable for the 12% ABV. Overall, while I confess I'm not a big fan of almond, this variant of Abuse of Stout is mighty tasty and enjoyable.

Served in a teku glass from a 16oz can.
Appearance: Semi thick but still thin brown tinted black body resembling a pour of american coffee with a tan head rising about a third of a fingers length.
Smell: Heavy coconut and vanilla extract aroma.
Taste: Sweet coconut and creamy vanilla doused coffee. Almost desert like which is good and the alcohol level super smooth and mellow.
Mouth: Sticky body but thin body. After taste lingers just wish the brew was a little thicker.
Overall: Good brew, honestly I wouldn't change it. I like the mellow sweetness. Not overpowering to the point that you don't want to finish the glass. Salud!
