I had this on draught as a "guest tap" at Rushing Duck. It pours a very dark walnut, approaching black. The thin, ecru-colored head receded quickly. The smell is sensational! There is pumpkin pulp, nutmeg, vanilla, clove, roasted malt, and freshly-brewed coffee. More than any other beer I've had, the nose reminds me of eggnog. Its taste offers a wide array of flavors: dark chocolate, fresh coffee, vanilla cream, nutmeg, and clove, I don't know how much pumpkin flesh was included in the boil but I can taste it. All of the flavors mesh very well. I have to say that the mouth feel is rather lite for a big Stout. But it's appropriately carbonated and drinks quite easily for 12%. Overall, this is a well-conceived and very well executed Stout. If possible I'll drink it again.

Served in a snifter glass from the can.

Appearance: Think brown tinted almost black body. Upon the pour you can see it's transparency.

Smell: Pumpkin pie and nutmeg aroma

Taste: Pumpkin pie, cinnamon and very slightly spicy. Coffee of course and tastes like it's stilling missing something.

Mouth: Think body, soft carbonation. Lacks a stickiness to it.

Overall: Good brew, looks like a stout but missing that molasses and coffee.
