16 ounce can into a goblet. Canned 4/21/21, had 3/3/23.

Pours a darker ruby amber, semi opaque, with a brief foamy head and a little slick lacing. Aromas of caramel, whiskey, brown sugar, malt, toffee, raisins, light oak. Mostly similar flavors: caramel, whiskey, raisins, brown sugar, malt, light oak. Has a bit of a sweet note. Smooth, a very good medium body, appropriately carbonated.

Nothing unique about this, it’s just really well executed. Strong and distinct aromas and flavors, with tasty and prominent barrels. Well worth a purchase.

A solid barrel aged Quad. It smells and tastes more like a barleywine, but still quite enjoyable. Doesnt have that same Belgian quad "spiciness", I guess is the term we can use, but it hits all the other marks. Brown sugar, dark fruit, oak, some dark chocolate, and even a bit of nuttiness, like walnuts or even pecans. Good amount of sweetness, a little hot from the ABV, an overall well done brew.
