This Cold IPA is an experimental style that blends lager yeast and boundary-pushing IPA ingredients. We added a newly innovated product from Yakima Chief Hops. Cryo Pop™ is a supercharged blend of beer soluble hop compounds created to unlock the maximum potential of aroma hops. Look for notes of peach, pineapple, strawberry, orange, and mango.
This is the fifth release in our “It’s not magic, it’s science series”. This series contains experimental and boundary-pushing beers, highlighting the science behind the recipes. Label design by Super Deluxe. This beer was made in partnership with Country Malt.

Appearance - Pours clear straw with four fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus, tropical, floral, and herbal hops, citrus and grapefruit peel, peach, mango, strawberry, pineapple, caramel, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold citrus, tropical, floral, herbal hops upfront. The citrus and grapefruit peel, peach, mango, strawberry, and pineapple come through next with a nice punch. The caramel, bready malts, and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky and bitter with the hops, fruits, and grapefruit peel lingering.
Overall - A flavourful, sessionable, and highly sessionable IPA from Cannery. I like how the grapefruit peel makes a dominant punch in this brew to balance out the tropical and citrus notes.

A very clear light pour almost like a Brut style, a nice tropical fruit nose and lots of floral taste notes.
