Kindling is an Imperial Stout, and this is our latest limited release beer available for the winter. Small beginnings. An even smaller spark. Growing.... glowing, to light the soul, to warm the heart, to strengthen the hand. From small things, great things come.

Appearance - Pours a dark jet black with two fingers of frothy tan mocha head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, and floral hops, coffee bean, cocoa, dark chocolate, coconut, roasted malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, and floral hops upfront. The bold coffee bean, cocoa, dark chocolate, and coconut follow suit. The roasted malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth and roasty with the coffee bean and cocoa lingering.
Overall - A bold and flavourful imperial stout from Cannery, I'm glad I finally got to try this as this has been on my want to try list for quite some time. All flavours are on point and is a brew worthy of these frigid temperatures here in Cowtown.
