It's not magic, it's science series.
For our annual fresh hop release, our brewing team designed a classic West Coast Fresh Hop IPA. It was brewed with fresh Centennial and Cascade hops from Northwest Hop Farms in Chilliwack, BC.

Poured from a 473ml can. Brewed with fresh Centennial and Cascade hops from Northwest Hops Farms in Chilliwack, BC.
A pretty good fresh hopped for the West Coast Style. Very drinkable.
In the over 20 fresh hopped i have tried in 2022 it falls mid tier.

Appearance - Pours a rusty copper with four fingers of frothy white head.

Smell - citrus, piney, earthy, leafy, and floral hops, citrus and grapefruit peel, pine resin, caramel, bready malts, and earthy yeast.

Taste - bold citrus, piney, earthy, leafy, and floral hops upfront. The citrus and grapefruit peel come through next. The bold pine resin, caramel, bready malts, and earthy yeast round out the brew.

Mouthfeel -Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops, grapefruit peel and pine resin lingering.

Overall - A stellar IPA and the hops taste quite fresh in this one. Cannery is one of those breweries that is underrated and this is amongst the top tier American IPAs I've sampled to date.

Beautiful clear amber-copper colour with two plus fingers of tawny coloured creamy head, lacing nicely.
Aroma cold has soft bready malt, hint of caramel; piney, a bit of grapefruit/citrus, and just a touch of onion. As warmed a very nice floral note presents prominently..
Taste hits with bready malt, caramel sweetness with a burst of pine and citrus - grapefruit notably - a resinous hit and again a bit floral with a distinct but relatively relaxed bitterness.
Solid medium mouthfeel - decent but not overpowering carbonation with a gentle lingering piney bitterness.
If they were going for a Sierra Nevada Celebration feel, very well done.
