It often seems as if there is no justice.... Some of you may have first heard of this beer as No Jail Pale Ale. Liability issues would not allow us to use this cool name. It appears that liability has no sense of humour. So we renamed it as No Justice Pale, we redid the packaging and it is now available in bottles in your favourite liquor stores.

Appearance- Pours a medium amber with a half finger width of bubbly head that fades quickly.
Smell- Sweet malts, slight leafy hops, grains
Taste- Pretty much the same as the aromas.
Mouthfeel- Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes slightly sweet and is a tad watery.
Overall- A "ho-hum" EPA by Cannery Brewing. The flavours are played safe and mouthfeel could use a little more body.

Overall- A "ho-hum" EPA by Cannery Brewing. The flavours are played safe and mouthfeel could use a little more body.

650ml bottle, now available in Alberta, justice has been served.
This beer pours a hazy pale golden colour, with a measly half finger of thinly foamy dirty white head, which leaves a few upward swaths of rock formation lace around the glass as it quickly abates.
It smells of sweet, bready, cereal malt, a bit of aged, overripe citrus, and floral, perfumed hops. The taste is more rather sugary, bready malt, some breakfast cereal graininess, and subtle noble leafy, floral hops.
The bubbles are tight, and slightly edgy, but well supportive overall, the body medium-light in weight, and unobtrusively smooth. It finishes still quite sweet, but moderated well enough by the aforementioned floral, leafy hops.
A pretty drinkable pale ale, the excess sweetness perhaps an offset of the lower ABV - something's gotta give. Anyways - enjoyable, tasty, and good for those times where a typical light beer just doesn't fulfill the low-booze jonesin' one might have to endure.

A clear golden yellow with a few specks of lace
S cornflakes and a little hoppy caramel, faint but for 3% I have no qualms
T not much more then the smell, grainy but no issues
M not as thin as expected but still quite light with enough bubbles to satisfy and a clean finish, the hotter the sun the better this beer would feel as long as its icy cold
O it is what it is, 3%alc, easy to drink with reasons perhaps too obvious
for a beer this light I'll take it, nothing worth bragging about but when you consider I could put it in my water bottle while playing soccer its pretty good

Bravo Cannery for making a great ESB and making at 3% ABV. I expected a weak beer and instead I got a full flavoured English style PA that has a great biscuity mouthfeel and a strong finish. You can drink a few of these and at 3% there is no other beer I know of in BC that comes in around that ABV. I will most definately get some of these in the fridge for parties where I have to drive

Interesting and surprisingly tasty low alcohol pale from Cannery.
Gold-amber colour with a decent white head. Strong, creamy malt nose reminiscent of toffee, bready and biscuits. The hops give a light fruity character to it.
Bold, malty taste with rich biscuit hints. Decent malt bitterness.
A bit heavy-handed on the carbonation, but for a 3% ABV beer this is packed with flavour. No question - this is a definite session ale.
