Lanikai Brewing Company

Somewhat remote on Oahu - not in Honolulu - it is on a busy street. Overall, there is an excellent vibe to the place. Wide variety of styles listed and available! The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would have loved to stay there longer! Food was excellent as well - there is a food truck permanently emplaced right next to it - focus is on pizza, but make excellent pizza dough based sandwiches as well!

 

 

 

 

Rolled in the day before new years. Super friendly staff but only 3 varieties left to sample. Apparently the day before they were slammed. Still, I tried Rt 70, Moku and a excellent ginger beer that I forgot the name of. Met the Brewer who was also very friendly. This is my favorite Hi brewery to date. No food , standing room only, but the people and the beer beat out other sit down and eatery joints in Oahu.

This is a relatively new brewery. Just providing tastings and growler fills. Very friendly, but small tasting room. Beer was fine, but I have a feeling this will get better. Worth checking out if you are in Kailua, but not worth going out of your way.
