Real peanut butter is infused into our seasonal Cream Stout. The rich, peanutty flavors play beautifully with the chocolate, roast, and caramel notes of the base stout, backed by the mouthfeel provided by added lactose.

Pouring a cellar temp 16 oz can into my snifter. Date stamped 11/06/2024. The beer pours a dark coffee color with no light penetrating the glass. A dense creamy beige head foams up about 2.5 CM and fades slowly but remains a very strong surface covering and leaves dense lattice on sips and swirls.
Aroma is husky peanut butter, roasted malt, bakers chocolate and hints of brown sugar. Never any hop character on the aroma and certainly not boozy.
First sip reveals a velvety smooth texture and medium body. The carbonation is very fine and gentle as it rolls across my palate.
Flavor is similar to the nose, roasted malt and dark chocolate with husky peanuts and not overly sweet. No hint of hops here either, and booze is also absent.
This beer drinks as I would have expected it to if described by style. Not candy sweet peanut butter that can often happen from examples in this realm. Nice easy drinking beer that I am enjoying as I wind down from the week.

From a can in Portland, OR. Dark brown without much carbonation or head. A solid entry in the creamy stout category. The peanut butter felt appropriate, not gimmicky.

As a fan of peanut butter, this is my favorite desert stout period…And I’ve tried many(favorite kind of beer). The peanut butter and milk flavors in this are potent! It’s not too thick either, so I could imagine myself having two. Again though, that’s just me, a peanut butter lover. Admittedly this is not the kinda beer you would ever want to session. While it’s fairly balanced for a dessert stout it certainly isn’t afraid to get in your face with the sweet chocolate and peanut butter. If that’s your thing, like it is mine, then this is one of those beers that’s even worth ordering online to be honest. Wherever you can find it. This is like beer candy for me.

Had on tap. Brownish black with faded edges and a tan head with spotted lacing. Aromas of peanut butter and milk chocolate with light roast. Taste has great creaminess to the chocolate, contrasting roast is pleasant but the peanut only resides within it and is subtle, kind of bland. Feel is creamy, malty, sneaky roasted, and yet lighter bodied best aspect of the beer.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown with little light transmission in the glass and a thin, off-white head that dissipates to sparse patches with light lacing. Aroma of mild dark toasted malt and peanut butter. Flavor is semi-sweet dark toasted malt, peanut butter and cocoa with a little lactose. Peanuts and a hint of malt char in the finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A straightforward sweet stout with really authentic tasting and balanced peanut butter flavor. The malt isn't that complex, but supports a well chosen level of peanuts. Light cocoa and char notes. A good example of the style.
