They call this a "Cold IPA," but it's brewed with Lager yeast and Pilsner malt. Also with wheat and flaked rice, but it pours clear and tastes clean. Call it an American style Pilsner and that's what it tastes like. Herbal hop taste, cereal, and a touch of blackberry. Some malty sweetness.
The aftertaste is an unusual bitterish herbal flavor, like something you'd add to a home-brew gin. Even a winey finish with a rough bit of straw. Whatever this is, it's quite drinkable with a robust but sudsy mouthfeel. From the 16 oz can purchased at the local Co-op market. Dated 06/17/21 on the bottom.
