Yuzu is the oriental citrus I have seen flavoring beers just this past year. Quite perfumey with a unique, but lemon-like scent. Modest bitter aftertaste and that hot feeling on the lips as from citrus peel. Rather light body with modest carbonation. Dry and verging on acidic with a bitter aftertaste. Aromatic, tangy, and fruity, makes for an interesting hoppy quaff.
This is a collaboration with Arbeiter Brewing. Hops are listed as Citra, Cascade, and Centennial, and brewed with pils malt and flaked rice. From the 16 oz can purchased at City Market (suddenly called Town & Country). Dated 08/31/21 on the bottom.
