Wrap yourself in comfort with our coconut vanilla oatmeal stout. Brewed with real toasted coconut, vanilla bean, and flaked oats, this oatmeal stout brings a smooth sweetness to the familiar rich coffee flavor of our base stout.

Sampling a cellar temp 16 oz can poured into my snifter. Date stamp is 12/03/2024. Beer given to me as part of a trade.
The beer pours a dark cola brown and rests slightly darker in my glass. A dense creamy beige head of about 1.5 cm foams up and fades slowly to a sturdy surface covering and leaves some tight lattice on my glass.
Aroma is some light and sweeter chocolate with a bit of vanilla mixing in. The chocolate is sort of like hot cocoa powder. No hint of hops on the nose.
First sip reveals a medium body with smooth texture and fine tingly carbonation. The carb is sort of spacious also. Not really any coating or covering on my palate with each sip.
Flavor has cocoa powder and some light roast and here the coconut shows up on the finish. The coconut lingers after each swallow. Hoo-rah! I like coconut, but am often let down by the lack of flavor imparted onto a beer made with coconut. This one delivers and it works well, with the balancing cocoa and roast note.
This is an enjoyable stout which delivers on the flavors on the label. Glad to have tried this one from a new to me brewery.
