Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Aromatic with papaya and lime. This is about as fruity as they come, without being from somewhere in Vermont or Iowa. Peach and apricot, rather sweet, followed by some orange peel and papaya. I don't know where they come up with these oddball hops, but I'm always happy to try anything-- anything! besides the usual Citra/Mosaic. This didn't need to be so sweet but it's quite friendly and drinkable. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. 03/25/25 date stamp.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a fine, two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus hops, lemon, light mixed tropical fruit and a little dankness. Flavor follows, with pale malt, citrus and dank hops, lemon, grapefruit, faint mixed tropical fruit and some catty dankness in the finish, which is satisfyingly bitter. Medium bodied with light to medium creaminess.I haven't picked up a Lucky Envelope brew for a while and was pleased to see a variety of hop I hadn't noticed before. Single hop IPAs can be a gamble some times, but this one stands on its own quite nicely. Definitely in the light citrus world, but with faint suggestions of other fruit and finally dankness. I liked this one.
