Gdańsk 26/7 2019. 50 cl bottle from Monopolowy by the Green Bridge. Cartoonish drawing of what looks like some Tyrolean with an exagerated moustache on the label. As “Darz Bor” is supposed to be a greeting among Hunters I assume he is a Hunter.
Pours hazy amber with a small yellowish head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No Lacing.
Aroma is sweetish malty, bready and lightly smoky. Caramel, lightly sugary, bread, grains. Solid malt base. Light odor of peat and smoke. Pleasant - and without going Ashtray on me.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light smoky finish.
Overall pleasant and well composed. The Smoke is present without making an nuisance. Maybe a bit too prudent for it’s own good.

The color is ruby red, amber, hazy.
Foam large, fine-bubble, medium remains on the surface of beer. Color off-white, slightly yellowish.
The aroma of smoke, the focal, slightly smoky, slightly sweet, caramel and unfortunately also diacetyl.
The taste is more smoked than focal, like the aroma of caramel, sweet and although at first did not bother me at all, then at the end it was it was a nuisance, like the aroma of a light diacetyl.
Bitterness is nice, inextricably associate with smoked bacon and a campfire.
Saturation average, adequate.
Alcohol perfectly stowed away.
Very cool beer with an interesting smoked, thick and smooth in his invoice. For me, a little too sweet, which in any case does not disqualify him.
