Single hop IPA brewed and dry-hopped with Motueka. The beer is fermented with Kluyveromyces, a wild yeast found on New Zealand grapes. The beer then has yuzu added to accentuate the aromatic qualities already present in the yeast and hops (thiols).

A:
Pours a golden straw that is a little hazy with 2+ fingers of gloppy white head. Decent retention; some doily lacing. (4)
S:
Tart citrus, some phenolic spice. (3.75)
T:
Neutral malt body with some light fruitiness/hop aromatics laid over the top. (3.5)
M:
Medium body with light carbonation and the least oatmealy finish of the three beers in this series. (3.75)
O:
Ok beer.
I think that this one is simultaneously the best and worst of the three hop/fruit/yeast combos that they did for these beers. The combination seems to be the best as the citrus melds really well and is more present than the fruits were in the other two beers. However, this one's pretty anemic on every other front. None of the extra stuff really popped in this one, thankfully the oatmeal wasn't as overbearing as in the other ones. Or maybe I've just gotten used to it by now. (3.5)
All told, the idea behind this series is cool. But I don't feel like you should release stuff like this until you're sure that the base beer is really solid and that all the pretentious ingredients are obviously present. They were all decent but I think if they were done again, tweaked a little, they could be great.
