500 mL bottle. Light copper body. Not much of a head. Smells of bubble gum yeast, sweet banana, and some herbal notes. Tastes of sweet caramel malt, fruity yeasty notes, cut by herbal and woody flavors. Mild herbal bitterness in the finish. A touch medicinal. Low carbonation. Medium heavy. A sipper, but it's a tasty and well balanced beer. Thanks, Martin!

O:
This is an interesting beer that kind of grew on me. It is not the best looking, fairly hazy and amberish without much head. The aroma and flavor are both sticky sweet and earthy with a hint of pine. There is a little sour twang in the nose that is totally absent in the flavor. It is drinkable enough and improves as it warms, but is definitely not super beer-like depending on what your expectations are.  I liked it okay and am glad to have tried it but it seemed a little messy smell and flavor-wise. From what I know it is probably a fairly accurate representation of the style, but the fact that it still tries to fit into people's conception of "beer" kind of takes away from that. Nice holiday/winter beer for sure. (3.5)
