August 27th, 2015 - This is their Nitro release of the Brown Ale. Divided cleanly between foam and brew, it looks well dressed and clean cut. The smell is heavy and deep and smells like fresh linen, with a touch of Guinness. The flavor exhibits some coconut and a deep muddy quality, and finishes cleaner with a creamy coconut dessert taste. A long coconut cream pie aftertaste defines this beer and makes it quite exceptional.

With an orange sunburst to brown color, it boasts an aroma of caramel espresso as the flavors of malt, some caramel, coconut and slightly sweet brandy melds together with the baked flan and some brandy aftertaste. While it does have some very slight astringent hops, it is very balanced overall and the coconut doesn’t overpower any good flavors of the beer. This is very nicely comparable to any nut brown ales out there, whether from Goose Island, Santa Fe or Carolina.
