Our West Coast-style IPA is both light and refreshing and big on flavor and aroma. Coming in at 6.5%, we rounded the body with Caramelized malts to balance out the bitterness from our kettle hops. Once fermentation is complete we blast it with a generous amount of Simcoe hops (in the dry hop) to give it a combination of citrus and pine aroma and flavor. A very drinkable beer brewed to the West Coast-style of India Pale Ales.

Clear gold with a thick frothy off-white head that left dots and streaks of lacing.
Light hints of grass and pine on the nose and palate. Not much bittersweetness to speak of.
Medium carbonation. A bit lighter than medium mouthfeel. Dry finish.
I wish the brewer success in finding more hops. We're all pulling for you!

As with the Session IPA, this beer needs hops. Some. Even a handful would be nice. It would be an nice golden ale or blonde if it had more malt backbone. These guys have potential. Maybe hop contracts were running thin?
