Im always willing to give a BA beer a shot, particularly when its not a whiskey barrel because the results seem to vary more wildly. In the case of London Calling, the rum barrel tastes deceptively similar to a whiskey barrel, save for maybe being a bit lighter. It works though, and it works well. A nicely balanced porter that isnt too heavy but has all the great characteristics of a whiskey barrel beer.
