I think this is the local gem of Fremont California. It's an odd location in a business park, but don't let that fool you. It's a wonderful little hideaway, unpretentious and personable service.
They are serving German beer with the West Coast twist.
The usually have 8 taps flowing and occasional seasonal releases.
To keep up with demand they are featuring far more ales than lagers.
Their beers are more hoppy than typical German beers but they are nicely balanced with a good malty body even in their doubles and triples IPAs to counter all the hops.
Bring your own food. Sometimes they have food trucks. However it's not a restaurant and they only have a few snack foods. Don't expect fancy, just go and chill out in a friendly atmosphere was wonderful owners.
