Tasted at the brewing location in Lake Zurich. The address is a bit hard to find (all the way at the end of a warehouse building) and the hours are limited each week, but it's definitely worth a visit! The brewmaster is usually there on weekends giving free samples and selling direct from the showroom.
There were only 5 beers on draft when I went, and I have to say that even though I'm not a Dunkel drinker, this was an amazing beer! Malt and honey flavors are full and rich. It was so smooth that I even took a growler home with me! I have been back twice since then--Viking approved!

Tasted in a pint glass from draft at the Vine on April 30, 2016. Look is mahogany with a tan head and spotty lacing. Smell is honey, floral and spice with caramel malt aromas. Taste is honey, floral and spice with rich caramel malt flavors. Feel is light in body with a smooth malty finish.
