More beer bar than brewhouse on my visit, as they just had guest taps. Completely dead during happy hour. Spacious, with lots of nooks. Decent. Nothing exciting other than the location stood out on my visit.

Stopped in here to check out the space and see what they had on tap. The vibe is pretty low key, the place was dead when I got there. The bartender seemed bored which I guess I would be too if no one was at the bar I was serving at. However, I ended up having a few rounds here because they had a solid tap list so that was cool.

Diving Dog consistently carries a great selection. I can't speak to lighter brews, but they've carried my favorites on tap: Goose Island Boubon Co. Coffee Stout (for which I went back 4 nights over the course of 1 week and brought 3 different friends to be sure to get as much as possible and got the last pour of the mini-keg they had), Ninkasi Ground Control, Stone w00tstout, Nitrogen-tapped Highwater Campfire Stout (although I'm not convinced Nitrogen tapping isn't just a marketing ploy in general LOL) and on and on. The staff is always helpful - even if they're in there on their night off just sitting at the bar. The vibe is chill and you can always sit in the front window if it's packed and it's much quieter up there. Plus, you can brew your own beer here! Haven't done that yet, but hope to soon.
