red into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, medium golden amber with a rocky, two finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of caramel and biscuit malt, citrus and dank hops, orange, grapefruit, light mixed tropical fruit and green melon. Flavor is caramel and pale malt, citrus and dank hops, orange, grapefruit, light pine, hints of mixed tropical fruit and ripe stone fruit. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A mostly West Coast style IPA showing off the character of Simcoe hops, with an interesting mixture of fruit notes, but a bit muddled. Good dankness and pleasant hop bitterness in the finish. Great body. The softness and hop flavor of NE style IPAs are present here, but the classic IPA style is dominant. Pleasant and drinkable.

Nearly clear amber brew but with an unfiltered look and plenty of foam in the snifter. Tangy and crisp on the tongue. Aromatic with pine and a hint of apricot. Simcoe is the featured hop. Flavors are weedy, earthy, and just slightly fruity.
This is a very pleasing hoppy brew with a friendly disposition and moderate bitter aftertaste. Overall it is dry and dankish but with plenty of malty substance. Certainly easy to drink and satisfying for its clean beeriness. From the 12 oz can.
