Nice deep copper color. Very clean in appearance. Not much carbonation but still lively enough. Sweet, malty aroma-a hint of peppery spice. Nice heat directly up front on the lips-seems to balance the bitterness and intensify it. Not overwhelmingly so either. Tingle of heat in the back as it goes down. Very nice balance between the honey, heat and hops. I am amazed the way the heat plays against the hop bitterness. Nice solid mouthfeel. A fantastic chile beer, one of the best I have had. Too bad this is a possible one off with some higher priced bottles-this would make a damn fine seasonal for my money in 4 packs.
