Served on tap at Culaccino in Burlington into a tulip glass. Advertised as a Pumpkin Milkshake IPA, not sure that will work out. Based on description it seemed most like a pumpkin ale with a couple of twists. Have rated as such.
Appearance - A clear deep bonzey color, with creamy two finger white head. Good retention and some rings of lace.
Smell - Certainly, pumpkin, a little vegetative with slight bits of cinnamon and nutmeg. On the sweeter end of things pumpkin aroma wise.
Taste - Pumpkin, some spice, reasonably sweet. Toasted brown sugar just below the surface. Grainy with pastry crust to close, although nowhere near the level of say Pumking or any imperial versions of this ale.
Mouthfeel - Full and frothy (maybe this is the milkshake element?). Medium bodied witjh enough carbonation and moderate finish. Works nice as a dessert beer.
Overall - A very nice beer if rating as a pumpkin beer, not getting the milkshake aspect despite a decent saturation of pumpkin (i did experience my first Milkshake beer earlier in the day). The beer does appear to match up with a few review on Untapped, so at least my hearing seems ok.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
