12 oz can. No date produced printed on can and labeled as a black IPA.
A: Jet black with tan 2 finger meringue consistency head.
S: Coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, dates, some piney hops.
T: Sweet to dark chocolate with a little citrus upfront and dark coffee character. Strong lingering piney bitterness with a dry finish.
M: Medium to thin. Medium carbonation.
O: Pretty decent black IPA (I haven't had one in a long time...) but I assume my taste changed overtime as I found the bitterness a little overpowering.

Fresh growler from the brewery...pours a dark clear cola color with a massive tan cap...Aroma is floral and roasty with some bready notes. Flavor has roasty grains and piney hops in balance up front but it starts to dry out and get bitter in the finish...bitter aftertaste gives you some alphas to chew on....very decent drinkable Cascadian black ale.
