Right in downtown "Greenwood". Bring your dog(s) if you can, they'll get organic treats and fresh water. They will probably get to say hello to at least one other pooch. A small concrete framed and floored room with the brew kettles adjacent. The beer menu consists of home brewers recipes brewed in larger batches here, and are written with dry erase felt pens on a white tile wall behind the tap tender. They also have crowlers and of course growlers to go. I got myself a growler of their Phünneywood Porter. You may wonder why the porter is named that. The next neighborhood south of Greenwood, heading towards downtown Seattle, is Phinney Ridge. Being a visit in early March, they had mainly heavier and darker beers on tap, which this practice, I agree with, as I am for the most part a seasonal beer drinker, i.e. pilsners, lagers......in the summer ; märzens, bocks, pale ales, IPAs, porters, stouts......spring or fall ; barley wine, imperial & barrel aged imperial stouts, doppelbocks, double and triple IPAs and of course (for me at least), double, triple and quaddrupel Trappist or Belgian style ales. Back to the brewery assessment. As you can imagine, there is a chance that you can park your bicycle in the taproom if there are none inside already. They were playing laid back Latin pop/jazz, which made things relaxed. The service is quite cordial.

You can go to this joint and it will be slow or packed. Rarely in between. No food so you can order nearby or bring your own-which I have done.

Always rotating taps because they brew members recipes. I get a flight so I can taste a bunch of them. Street seating available during Covid and also garage doors that open. Dog friendly.

I visited Flying Bike last weekend and I quite like the place. I visited on a Saturday evening, and it was busy with lots of folks, including families with kids (it's a family-friendly kind of place). The taproom is pretty big with an open, airy build-out; not super intimate but welcoming nonetheless. 13 taps plus a cask offering and guest taps with cider and gluten-free beer. The majority of their beers are rotators, this being a coop with numerous brewers, and so there's always lots of new things on offer. I had a taster tray plus a pint and just about everything was at least pretty good. I recommend it!
