Different from other Amber's, but that's cool. It has a stronger malt character with subtle notes of coffee, caramel, and nutty flavors. Hopped with Northern Brewer, this beer pays tribute to its Northwest roots.

A - Poured a clear, amber color with a one-finger, khaki colored head of foam. It left some sudsy trails of lace.
S - It smelled grassy, floral and somewhat of butterscotch.
T - It tasted a little odd. I don't think it's infected but it was buttery.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth.
O - Easily my least favorite from my visit to Hopping Gnome.
