A- hazy orange with a hint of yellow, white head that lingers in good lacing
S-Citrus forward aroma, with a layer of dank and piney notes.
M-Body is medium with carbonation at the higher end they give off slightly peppery notes.
T- bitter and peppery upfront, with a resinous feel around the gums, that lends to hop flavour and sensation.
O-This is a wonderful IPA, that is quite bitter, very enjoyable, not sure worth the $5 price tag...

From the can. No date. Preferred this one over the Tribale Double IPA. Had a more balanced hop and malt profile. Flavour was more cohesive. Overall a nice easy drinking summer beer.

pretty dark at moderate amber. Slight white head of some retention. Nose is a bit piney, a bit of honey. Taste is a touch sweet up front but a fairly resinous bitter finish. Decent body and carbonation.

Appearance - Pours a hazy honey orange with 3 fingers off white head, Carbonation seems light and the head fades fast.

Aroma - Stone fruit up front, definitely grapefruit and orange, hay, eathy hops, a little dank but not overly so and some sweetness with the pale malt. its almost a brown sugary sweetness.

Taste - flavor follows the nose to the tee.

Feel - smack dab in the middle of medium bodied soft carbonation but not creamy, not overly bitter but definitely overly flavorful for a daily drinker.

Overall - This is a decent "once in awhile IPA" Its flavorfull and well executed, could of handled a little more IBU"S but all around I want something a little more easy drinking for a daily. This would be something I would enjoy on a friday night with friends in a brew pub..

Bottle: Poured a bright amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy malt with light resin with floral undertones is quite nice. Taste is also a nice mix of citrusy hops notes with light resin and floral undertones with some malt notes also noticeable. Body is full with good carbonation. Solid IPA with great drinkability though maybe malt is little bit more upfront then I had expected.

Hazy golden color with low activity. Slightly frothy beige 2 finger head, lasting around 5-10 minutes, with poor legs. Flavors of orange, pineapple, lemon, pine, grassy hops, and a little buttery. Slick medium body with faint crispy carbonation. Strong finish of pine and grapefruits, with faint malty notes. Heavily bitter with a thick tongue coat. Feels a little too thin and lacking some freshness. The flavors are okay but not well balanced, overly piney and grassy. Average quality craft, too bold for a regular IPA.

Service: Bottle

A:
Pours a cloudy honey color with two fingers of airy, scummy head that isn't too tenacious, some big floating chunks of either yeast or hop protein or something. retention; lacing. (3.5)

S:
Stonefruit and grass. Some herbal body with nectarines, orange zest, dirty rag. (3.75)

T:
Slightly fruity and generally herbal. Rich and earthy, grassy herbal hops with a hint of sweet/tartness in the background. (3.75)

M:
Smooth with a medium body, light carbonation, a dryish/resinous finish. (3.75)

O:
Damn decent IPA.
This is a new-comer to Quebec's once-dismal IPA family. It pours alright and drinks well as well. Both the smell and the taste are a nice balance of sweet and dank-ish/grassy hop flavors, however both have a little twinge of something in the background that I would describe as “old rag smell”. A musty, mineraly, off smell that is unpleasant, but not enough to diminsh what is otherwise a solid beer. I wonder but what they are still getting their canning up to snuff. We'll have to see what their beers taste like come summer.
Would have again, look forward to trying their other beers and paying a visit. (3.75)

Blonde beer with a small white head. Intense hop smell, you get bananas, oranges, mangoes, pineapples, some earthy notes too. Tastes similar to what it taste, maybe you can add grapefruits as the main fruit I can taste though. Really really good, I've tasted a lot of IPA in the last year (around 50 I'd say) this is one of the best right here, the bitterness styas in your mouth for a while and the finish is long. I'd compare it with the Moralité by Dieu du Ciel and the Yakima by Le Castor as a top contender for best Québec IPA.
