Here we have a 33 cl bottle, bought at Beer Mosaic in Toulouse, FR, poured slightly chilled into a Euro brewery snifter.
Big rich mocha foam oozes out, rides high and tight over dark as night brew, leaves a firm cap throughout the experience.
Nose pops vanilla espresso latte.
Taste is firm dark malt, got coffee and vanilla in tow. The hop rides down the centerline of the tongue, nice ABV presence, and finishes mocha. I’m reminded of an old fashioned egg cream with a horn of espresso, spiked. The vanilla is not overdone, nor does it taste artificial. Nice balance, but oats added have a hard time smoothing out high fizz.
Mouthfeel is surprisingly light, and it sports high carbonation.
Overall, this is a tasty and interesting spritzy kicker.
