33 cl bottle from Beer Mosaic in Toulouse, FR, poured slightly chilled into a snifter.
Rich mocha foam rides high over dark brown brew.
Nose pops cocoa richly.
Taste is dark malt, dark chocolate. The hop sits on the centerline of the tongue, nice ABV presence, and finishes with cocoa. Six months of barreling seems unnecessary.
Mouthfeel is light, and there is shockingly high carbonation.
Overall, a SMB variant that I’ll enjoy again soon!
