Copenhagen 16/4 2018. 37,5 cl bottle from Vin de Table, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Citrus tree with a couple of citrus on the label.
Pours hazy to the point of opacity, golden yellow with small bubbly white head. Settles as thin, lonely patch of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is quite strong. Citrus, Grape fruit, funk and light notes of subdued sweetness. Well hidden in the acid bath but precious.
Light yet prickly carbonation. Pretty thin texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet soon overpowered by strong sourness. Tart and acidic. Aftertaste is sour. Finish is dry.
So sour and dry it reminds me of an Geuze - but with a hint of sweetness that makes a difference.

Enjoyed at the 2016 Copenhagen Beer Festival in Boston, MA. Reviewed from notes.
A - Poured a nice slightly hazy dark golden hue with a one finger white head that fades to leave a creamy blanket.
S - Aromas of bright, clean, light funk. Some nice light tropical and citrus hop elements. Super well balanced.
T- Taste is more of the same. The barnyard funk and saison yeast is quite pleasant and the citra hops bring a really pleasant fruitiness to the beer. Super well balanced
M - Mouthfeel is crisp and clean. Incredibly easy drinking.
O - Overall this was a very nice well balanced tart saison. Would love a bottle of this beer.

Slightly hazy pale color with white head. Aroma has lemony tartness, some farmhouse funk and also a light grassy hop note. Taste starts tart, lemony with some strong yeast character. Light body with medium carbonation. A really good hoppy farmhouse ale.
