Pours a cloudy, deep golden coloration with a large, foamy, lasting head. Smells of biscuity malt and hoppy, tropical notes of mango and passion fruit, as well as a hint of citrus and grass. Taste is a good balance of biscuity malt and hoppy tropical/citrus notes, with the tropical notes of mango and passion fruit dominating and lighter notes of tangerine, as well as a hint of grassy dankness and pine coming through in the aftertaste. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some tropical notes and light pine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A very nice Pale Ale with good hoppy tropical/citrus notes, perhaps a bit on the sweet side at first sip, but balanced nicely by some pronounced dank, bitter notes and pine.
