Copenhagen 23/11 2019. 44 cl ban from Best of Beers Web-shop. Drawing of a (very) brief encounter on the can. Simply a guy walking way from a girl.
Pours opaque milky, hazy yellow with a big white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick, lumpy, frothy, uneven layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fresh, fruity and citric. Moderately strong odor of exotic fruit like Pineapple and Peach. Strong notes of Grapefruit and Lemon. On the Acerbic side.
Medium carbonation. Thin, watery, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a quite strong citric, acidic bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Dry finish.
As I get a lot of flavor for a Session IPA i would not exactly call this a Brief Encounter.
