Copenhagen 27/2 2020. 44 cl can from Beerlivery (Webshop. Tusch rendering of the Danish musician C.V Jørgensen on the can.
Pours milky, hazy, opaque golden yellow with medium-sized white head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of fom just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense, sweetly fruity and with prominent citric notes. Sweet peach and pineapple. Hints of sugary mango. Grape fruit and citriüs. Slightly acidic. Light odor of fermentation rummaging on the background.
Light carbonation. Soft, medium thick, smooth, creamy and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undercurrent. Lingers for. While. Dry finish.
Pretty light and fresh DIPA. I hardly noticed the alcohol. Makes me wonder how Carsten Valentin feels about Indian Pale Ales.
