Copenhagen 12/3 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Alefarm's usual design with a small dreamcatcher as motif.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam stretching in vain to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, sugary odor mingling with sweet spice and alcohol. Dark roasted malts, brown sugar in abundance, vanilla and a whiff of sweet bourbon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit thick and sticky, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a prominent sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is quite dry.
Sweet nose and a more bitter flavor.
