Copenhagen 29/5 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. A lot of small balls in blue, red and yellow on the label. Looks like the Ball Pit I never had the luck to visit when I was a kid.
Pours opaque, golden yellow with a very big white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer and crawling up the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a rather strong fruity odor and a lighter citric odor. Sweet malts with a bit of cardboard. Blood orange, mango and papaya. Grape fruit and lime.
Medium sarong carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Finish is dry.
Intense and sweetish but not unbalanced. Quite some citric vibe but more orange than grape fruit. Good one.
