Copenhagen 15/9 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Aquarel painting of kissing couple on the can. Looks a bit like a romance comics pocketbook from the seventies. But better drawn.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, flimsy, patch of foam unable to cover much of anything. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of exotic fruit and a gentle touch of marmalade. Lemonade-like tartness. A bit of citrus and lime peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling and prickling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Finish is dry.
Sweet and with a touch of lemonade but also dry and tart. Nice romantic pocket book.
