Overall, a good DIPA, just a little bit off.

Copenhagen 18/11 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Watercolor painting of looming clouds the moment that the sun breaks through.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as a thin, flimsy, patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, lightly fermented, fruity odor mingling with citric fumes. Peach and papaya. Hints of decay. Citrus and grape fruit. Light whiff of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A kind of heavy, fairly hard hitting, sweet sun hammering through the clouds.
