Copenhagen 2/1 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. A very fresh water color on the can. Judging from the amount of leaves on the ground I would say the beer should be called “Come Autumn”.
Pours opaque, hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized, fluffy white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a mild odor of exotic fruits soon overpowered by a sharp, zesty citric scent. Grapefruit and lemon. Pine tree. A bit of peach and pineapple.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit searing. Finish is rather dry.
Fine, zesty and bitter specimen.
